About the Business
BML Printers started in 1994 as a sister company to The Colour House and Test Valley Scanning, it quickly established itself as the main company and in 1995 we merged the other two companies. Starting with a two-colour Heidelberg GTO we were printing a full range of business stationery and brochures.
In 1997 we installed a SRA2 two-colour press specifically for printing larger format work, specifically folders and books, which did sterling service for many years, during this period we were one of the first installations of the Xerox DC12 which led us to expand into digital printing.
Today we are a very technology-based company with a high-tech workflow system which can take files from many sources and turn them into print-ready pdf's with the system automatically trapping and correct RGB colours into CMYK where applicable. These files are then delivered straight to our Dainippon Screen B2 plate setter or our Screen Truepress for printing.
