Business Services
Digital Printing
The introduction of the flatbed printer has revolutionised the print industry.
Speed and quality has improved to such an extent that inkjet technology is competing with traditional methods of printing.
Opportunities are being developed in many industries beyond the printing industry, using less traditional materials. To enable these new industries to realise the benefits and understand the technology.
Lithographic Printing
With the ever-growing expectations in quality and deadlines, a process which is fast, extremely controllable and consistently yields good quality results is a necessity. This is where Large Format lithographic printing enters the point of sale and packaging industries.
What’s unique about Clearpoint is that we combine all our print expertise within Large Format litho, screen print, digital and finishing to create some of the most unique and visually impacting print effects and, therefore, some of the most exceptional point of sale display systems in the UK.
For Clearpoint to meet the ever increasing standards and speeds in our industry, our machines have all the latest technology printing up to six colour with UV in-line coating if needed. This along with our in-house reprographic control and the fact that we are profiled to industry standard ISO12647, means Clearpoint holds total control over all processes and in turn gives ‘headache’ free turnaround.
We print directly onto a diverse range of substrates and commonly print at sheet sizes of up to 1300x1850mm.
Screen Printing
Silk-screen printing is one of the oldest but yet the most versatile methods of printing available. With this versatility it is possible to print onto a multitude of different materials such as paper, board, self adhesive vinyls, plastics, metal panels, wood, glass, perspex, corrugated products and textiles, not only onto flat sheets but directly onto many different shaped objects.
We are able to print large or small quantities up to a size of 1.6mx2.3m, as many colours as required and suitable for interior and exterior uses. We can use inks such as metallics, dayglo, mirror, glitter varnishes and many other special effects which no other process can achieve.
The print industry over the last decade has undergone many changes. One of the biggest changes has got to be standardisation. Due to the many processes a large marketing campaigns can be produced on at Clearpoint, we felt standardisation of colour is quite simply a necessity and one which Clearpoint grasped with both hands right from the early days its conception.
Clearpoint have invested in many man hours, research and the latest profiling equipment to bring this ‘old process’ into the 21st century and to run inline regards colour accuracy and consistency with the other equipment and processes which are all profiled to print under the latest industry standard ‘ISO12647’. This ensures whether it’s a sticker, a poster, or an FSDU - colour consistency is no headache and always accurate.
