How does machine embroidery work?

We create or use a specific file which our industrial machines can read. This file includes stitch types, directions, densities and all the other critical information to insure your embroidery looks first class. Once the thread colours have been selected the embroidery process can begin. This technique involves a sturdy frame being placed onto the garment with backing fabric being applied to the logo area. This strengthens the garment while the logo is stitched. This process can sometimes leave a mark on the garment but this can easily be rubbed or washed off.

We typically use Madeira threads paired with our Tajima and Happy embroidery equipment to guarantee the highest quality workwear or uniform stitch-outs with long-lasting vibrancy.

Embroidery tends to be most popular on polo shirts, business shirts/blouses, aprons/tabards, jackets or blazers and even towels and dressing gowns in the hospitality industry, but embroidery has countless other applications too.

Safety workwear (or Hi-Viz as it is commonly known) is a must for certain job types. Site workers, warehouse staff and the rail industry, etc. are all required to wear Hi-viz workwear and why not add logo embroidery to help identify your staff and spread your brand? Often this hi-viz clothing is either fluorescent yellow or fluorescent orange and nowadays will usually have reflective bands.

We can embroider your design to the Left Breast, Right Breast, Centre of the Chest, Large Front, Big Back or Nape of the Neck and in some cases we can supply embroidery to the Left and Right Sleeve, depending on the fit of the garment. Our most popular flyers are A5 (148mm x 210mm) and 170gsm silk stock. They give a classy look, and feel of good quality. Most budget flyers are printed on 130gsm.
Single sided or Double sided... This really depends on the amount of content you'd like to share. Generally less is more; look at a striking flyer design to draw your customers attention. Make it clear what your product, promotion or service is about. You won't hold your potential customers attention for long so keep wordy jargon to a minimum. Remember, a picture paints a thousand words.

(Though we do recommend large banners in exposed areas are taken down in strong winds).
