Since its inception in 1979, Five Star Printing has been offering a print and design service to local and national companies. We have a comprehensive range of printing and finishing equipment and are able to off a wide and varied range of printing services with the aim of supplying our clients with a total print solution. The chances are you already have a printer - but are they printing with an eco-conscience? We at Five Star don't believe that printing has to be a wasteful and ecologically damaging process and being 'green' does not mean compromising quality.
As standard we use vegetable based printing inks which respect the environment far more than the commonly used mineral based inks. Secondly, none of our printing presses use the chemical Isopropyl which is still used throughout the printing industry. This chemical is very high in Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) which are a major source of ozone pollution.
