About the Business
Streamset-Tintera is a family owned and run business that has operated in the Southend area for over 60 years. Roy Cushion served his printing apprenticeship when he was demobbed in the 1940s, setting up the successful Tintera printing business with his father and brother in Westcliff. In the 1970s he saw a new market emerging - computer stationery - and Streamset was formed to answer the need for high quality computer and business stationery. His daughters, Ann and Sue, and his wife, Paddy, were immediately enlisted and together they built the business to run alongside Tintera. Today, Ann runs the two businesses side by side - Streamset prints a wide range of business stationery and Tintera continues to serve the garage and motor industry across the whole of the UK and beyond.
